Yoga is not about being able to touch your toes, but about what you learn on the way down. In this barefoot yoga and wellness workshop, you’ll be able to see your toes – and feel the earth and the grass beneath you.
Roberto is an expert in adjusting his classes to the ability of each person who attends, so you won’t ever feel that you’re being left behind. Rather, with the emphasis on slow flow Hatha, you’ll be able to take the time to balance both your energy and your body - and move in new ways.
This is a workshop with a holistic approach to yoga – not just the physical aspects, but also inner methods including visualisation and being fully conscious of how you move into each asana or pose, and how you and your breathing feel once you’ve attained this.
Give your inner alchemy free rein, and you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how you react. Through stretching you’ll achieve strength; through breathing mindfully you’ll regain your control and composure.
As well as the 90-minute yoga class, your morning will include:
- a guided barefoot garden walk
- a medicinal mushroom tea ceremony
